Welcome
Welcome to the Oldbury Orchards website, where you can find out more about our proposals for a nature-led, sustainable residential development on land north of Oldbury Lane.
We are currently consulting on our plans and would value your feedback to inform our proposals.
This website provides you with details of the emerging outline proposals, answers to frequently asked questions and invites you to share your feedback with us.
We are holding a public consultation until Friday 25th July, and we would love to hear your thoughts. You can also provide your feedback at our upcoming drop-in consultation event on 17th July from 3.30pm – 7.30pm at Chantry Community and Arts Centre, 52 Castle St, Thornbury, Bristol BS35 1HB.
We plan to deliver around 350 new homes, including 40% affordable housing, alongside a community hub, play areas, and an enhanced orchard. The plans could deliver significant social and environmental benefits, with proposals seeing potentially over 50% of the site becoming enhanced publicly accessible green space - including orchards, wildlife meadows and areas for play.
Sustainability is at the forefront of our designs, with the potential to include renewable energy generation to provide energy to the homes, making the development carbon free.
Hill Group prides itself on placing communities at the heart of its developments, striving to positively impact residents.
